On behalf of my family, I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to everyone for the heartfelt sentiments expressed upon the recent passing of my father. We are deeply touched by the overwhelming response. Although losing someone is never easy, we find solace in knowing that he is no longer suffering. For over 11 years, my father courageously battled Parkinson's disease and Sundowner's dementia, conditions that underscore the severity of neurological afflictions. His unwavering dedication to our family and his community was inspiring, as evidenced by his tireless volunteering and selfless efforts to help those in need. Those who knew him can attest to his generous spirit and unwavering commitment to every endeavor he undertook. I struggle to put into words the depth of his impact on our family, as his honor and devotion are a testament to the remarkable person he was. In accordance with my father's wishes, we will not be holding a funeral or memorial service at this time, as he preferred to depart quietly and await reunion with his partner of 63 years. Instead, we ask that you hold him in prayer. We take comfort in knowing that he is at rest, reunited with his parents and daughter. We are grateful for your support and kindness during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers or other tributes, we respectfully request that donations be made to Parkinson's research in his memory. Your generosity would be a fitting tribute to his legacy. We appreciate your love and understanding. Online condolences may be shared at denglerrobertspernafuneral.com. May God bless you all.
