Perry Samuel Nicholas, of Williamsville, NY entered into rest on May 24, 2026 at age 73. Devoted father of Dr. Gianna E. (Aaron O. Wood) Nicholas, PhD; best Papou to Ronan and Mali Wood; loving son of the late Spiros and Eugenia (nee Frangos) Nicholas; dear brother of George (Karin) Nicholas and the late Irene Nicholas. Mr. Nicholas was a professor emeritus of English at Erie Community College. He was a nationally and internationally recognized poet and actively involved in the Buffalo literary scene. His greatest joy was spending time with his daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren. Relatives and friends may visit Beach-Tuyn Funeral Home, 1671 Maple Rd., Williamsville, NY 14221 on Sunday, June 28, 2026 from 10am - 12pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Perry to the Just Buffalo Literacy Center.
