Richard "Dick" I. MacVittie, Sr. was born April 25, 1927 and passed away January 28, 2021. Survived by his loving wife Thelma (nee Beiter); four children, Richard Jr. (Diane), Martin, Kathy (Robert Brewer) and David; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by nine brothers and sisters.
The family will be present to receive family and friends Thursday, September 2nd, from 4-6 PM, at BEACH-TUYN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5541 Main Street (at Cayuga Rd.), Williamsville, where a Funeral Service will follow at 6 PM. Memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Association (www.jdrf.org).
Mr. MacVittie served in the Marines and was a WWII veteran. He was a steamfitter in Local #395 (#22). He was an avid outdoorsman and passionate Buffalo Sports Teams Fan.
