I am very sorry for your loss. I remember Richard from every Mass on Sundays. He was always there to shake hands and during events like Mission, he made us feel welcome and always asked how we were doing. We are praying for his repose and for his family.

Dear Nora, Coty, James, John, Joshua, & Jacob,

We may not have met in person, but Rick was a cousin and friend. He and I would often text via the phone and talk about life, God, and country. He was an inspiration to us all here on Long Island and will forever be in our hearts. Watching this amazing Celebration of Life with the LiveStream in your beautiful church was amazing. I know Rick is up in Heaven with God watching over all of you and smiling down. Thank you for allowing us to watch this beautiful Mass. Sending you love, light, hugs, angel kisses, and healing prayers. With Love, Cousin, Audrey & Family.

Rick has been such a cornerstone for me in terms of both faith and friendship. I will always cherish the times that our families had together. Rick, Nora and the boys have been family to us. I will never forget Rick’s passion and his commitment to the 3F’s for a happy life … Faith, Family and Fellowship. I will miss you greatly, my friend.

I had the privilege of knowing Mr Weil for almost 20 years since I was a Cub Scout before first grade. I am best friends with his son James. Mr Weil was a kind man that walked with grace, faithfulness, compassion, wisdom, and kindness. He would always look me in the eye and welcome me with a firm handshake, then ask how I was doing. He was someone that cared deeply about his kids and his wife. He was full of cool facts and stories that he would tell when you were talking with him. Lastly, Mr Weil was for me most know for his LinkedIn profile picture which I call his signature pose. Big smile, with a thumbs up. He will forever be missed by me and everyone that knew him. My condolences and prayers to the Weil family. May he rest In eternal peace and comfort with God.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Rick was a character. I met Rick at work, he was always down to talk airplanes and boy did he know a lot. Between the stories of his cars from his younger years and the stories of his boys, You could tell he was a great guy to be around outside of work. There wasn't a conversation he had without talking about how much he loved his kids. Hearts and love to his family and friends. We will Miss you at work Rick!

Our 20 years of love and friendship will always be cherished and never forgotten. We have been blessed to have you as an important part of our lives. You will be greatly missed!
Rest in peace Rick / Mr. Weil.
Love, Chet, Denise, Parker, Marisa & Tabitha Swiatek

My Dear friend Rick was sure to send me a message on every special occasion, blessing me with our Lords Grace and a personal prayer of protection. He was and is a Saint among Men.

We are so saddened by the loss of such an amazing man, a fellow Brother Knight, true Catholic and dear friend. Rick was my first friend in the area after I moved to Buffalo in 2015, and has been such a warm, loving, caring, and understanding friend to me. I’ve been carrying a prayer card in my wallet that he gave me back in 2024 after he shared spiritual advice on a personal challenge I mentioned to him. I will carry this card with me always - it will remind me of him often. We are praying for Nora and his dear family. God bless you Rick, my dear friend… I’ll miss you. -Dave Buckmaster

So sorry to hear. Rick was such a great man. There are so many memories of him being a wonderful father during the years at St. Greg's. Some that stand out are the soccer games he coached.
He is just one of the greats.....great coach, father, husband, engineer, and on.

Dear Nora and family. My sincere condolences to all of you during this difficult time. Rick was a wonderful man. He will be missed by many. Be assured of my prayers and support. Love, Father Dan

Nora and family,
