

Rosalind “Roz” Jureller, 86, of Naples, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on September 29, 1939, in Gloversville, New York, Roz was the daughter of Arthur and Carmellia Aulisi. She attended Lasell Junior College in Massachusetts before earning both her bachelor’s degree in education and her master’s degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
In 1964, she married Dr. Paul D. Jureller. Roz dedicated more than 30 years to teaching kindergarten, a profession she cherished deeply. She adored “her kids” and took great joy in nurturing generations of students, often teaching the children of former pupils. Roz and Paul raised five children and shared a happy, active life together. She was deeply involved in the Junior League of Buffalo, local PTAs, area hospitals, and numerous charitable organizations. Known for her impeccable style, grace, warmth, and generosity, Roz cultivated lifelong friendships and always made time for others. Her presence brightened every room she entered.
To her family, she was the wind beneath their wings. She is survived by her children, Anne (Carl) Alexander, Arthur (Rena) Jureller, David (Emily) Jureller, Richard (Lori) Jureller, and daughter-in-law Leslie Jureller; her brothers, Joseph (Jill) Aulisi and Richard (Anne) Aulisi; and her beloved grandchildren, Alex Jureller, Jack Alexander, Hannah Jureller, Will Alexander, Bella Jureller, Chloe Jureller, and Samantha Jureller.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Paul D. Jureller, and her son, Paul D. Jureller III.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 29, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Perna, Dengler, Roberts Funeral Home in Williamsville, New York. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 30, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church. Please assemble at church.
