Much sympathy to the entire family. I just recently met Donnette and her intelligence and kindness is evidence of her wonderful parents.

My sincere condolences to the Ballacchino family.  Sal was a kind, and helpful man in the days of Centerview Pharmacy and my childhood neighborhood where you would also meet his son Joe, and Robert working with him and call them friends.  A trusting place one could go, and always be greeted with a smile. Sorry for your loss, and many blessings and may he rest in peace, and calm with the Lord.

I am so sorry to hear of Sal's passing. I worked with the Ballacchino Family back in the early 70's at the drugstore downtown. Everyone worked there, Sal, Rocco, Joey, Debra and Grandpa. Sal was always a happy and kind man, occaisionally Joey would get yelled at and we as kids would get a laugh out of it. I remember you all fondly.

Your husband's father (Angelo) and my father (Dominic) were brothers.  Your husband is my cousin, as are Anna, Rocco, Carmela, David, and James.  I'm sorry to say that we lost touch with each other when we all married and moved to different states.

A Mass and our prayers will be offered in Sal's honor and for the repose of his soul at our church in Janesville, WI.

Dear Uncle Sammy (Godfather) you will always have a special place in my heart. I will never forget all the time we spent at the Main Place  pharmacy. We had a lot of fun with the whole family there,  grandpa, dad, Uncle  Jimmy, and Joey. I will always remember how you would pick me up from my house and we would go to work together. During the blizzard of 1977 we had to sleep at he store we couldn't  get home for days, when the weather cleared up we drove home I don't no how you did it but you got us home safe.
