There are so many wonderful memories but my most memorable is when I was 7 years old and my family and I had just arrived to the USA. Zia Stella and Zio Ned showed me what a real American Christmas was. My family and I arrived in their house on Keil Street and zia Stella zio Neddi Billy and Roseann welcomed us into their beautiful home (Michelle was not born yet). I remember being mesmerized by the beautiful Christmas tree and decorations and how warm and kind we were treated. I will never forget it. They showed me how beautiful a family is. God Bless zia Stella and zio, Gianna

Rose, Paul & Families....
Holding you in our hearts in Vermont with a candle on...Tis' been said..."That when God is pleased, we are called home." I was once told that your Mother was the life of the party ~ No doubt your vibration is testimony to that, Rose...

As the holidays enclose us...I am hopeful that she has met up with my Mother by now...For some festivity planning....Around an Italian & Polish co-mingle Christmas Eve...I am sure our Father's will be up for it too.

This is a beautiful piece:

My prayers and condolences to the whole family. In the time I spent with Nonna, I was able to see what a wonderful, caring and loving soul she had. She enjoyed nothing more than being with her family, which I remember seeing firsthand while I was at her house with Jack and a few of my friends. A family member stopped by to say hello, but as they tried to leave, Nonna continued conversation and even teared up as they pulled out of the driveway. That kind of love is something that you don’t see everyday, and as much as she didn’t want them to leave that day, she will now never have to leave any of you again. Although her physical form has passed, that sweet soul that loved her family more than anything will now be with you all forever. May god bless her with a deserving eternity of peace and happiness.

Over the past 5 or so years I had the privilege and honor to get to know and be around Nonna. She was such a loving, caring, and welcoming person who will be so deeply missed. I’ll always remember the times I spent with Jack going over to her house to see her. She would always bring out way too many cookies for us to eat and make us coffee. It was always so funny because the coffee was a hit or miss but even if it was bad we would always end up drinking it because it made her happy. Nonna had such a pure heart, and I will always carry the memories I had with her in my heart. May Nonna Rest In Peace.

Zia Stella was such a warm, compassionate and kind woman. I can't say enough wonderful things about her. I especially loved her smile, laugh and great sense of humor. She was always young at heart, joining in on all the fun festivities with everyone, young and old. I will miss her so much but will always carry her in my heart. I'm happy to know you are joined again with Zia Franca and Nonna and will watch over us. I love you very much!

My deepest sympathies to the family of Stella at this difficult time of loss. My heart breaks for you having been through the loss of my Mom just a few months ago. She was a dear friend to Antonia (Mom) for many years and I remember Stella as far back as I can as a young child. She was there for us many times over & will never forget that. We were always welcomed to her home with a smile and like any good Italian lady greeted with a table full of food followed by coffee & sweets along with conversations before the night was over. When Mom watched my young Sons she would visit with Stella who would have Cara & Jack there too enjoying their grandkids together! The many grocery trips they made until Mom's health began to limit her outings and although they did not see each other the last few years they stayed in touch with phone calls mostly talking about the families they loved so much! God bless you Senora Stella- my Mom has her friend again & may you both watch over us enjoying your conversations once again. All Our Love, Rosa, Charlie & Sammy DeRose

My Zia Stella was one of the kindest, most loving person I've ever known. Her compassion will continue to shine on through her amazing family! Zia Stella always made me feel welcomed in her home and the mention of her name brightened any room! I love you so much and will miss you so much! Give a big hug and kiss to Nonna from me, xoxoxo!!
