Dear Louise,

I was saddened to hear about Tom. Ed Grasho told me the news. I've known Tom since we were in high school. Tom and my brother Eugene were friends and we all hung around together. I can still see Tom and Ed walking home from Tech High School on Elmwood Ave. carrying their books and wearing their dark jackets with lavender trim.. Tom was always a very nice guy

I am Eugene's sister and we met at his 60th birthday party in No. Tonawanda about 15 years ago. I thought you were a very pretty lady.

May your happy memories and the love you shared comfort you in the coming days. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely

Mary Boyer

I did not know Thomas J. Beatty, but his son and namesake Thomas Beatty is my friend and colleague and a very fine man; surely a reflection of a great father. My condolences to the entire Beatty Family.

Very sorry to lose my Uncle Tom. He was a tremdous source of inspiration and courage, a wonderful human being, and I am blessed he was my uncle.

I will never forget his intelligence and humor, it was quite unique. I remember the T shirt he gave my father. It had a picture of an ape scratching his head with a famous caption underneath that read: "To be or not to be"

Rest easy Uncle Tom, your in my heart forever.
Love,
Mark

Dear Aunt Louise, Tommy, and Matthew. You have our deepest sympathy. Uncle Tom was the best uncle. I have so many wonderful memories of uncle Tom while visiting you all up in Buffalo and then when you came to visit us in New Jersey. God gifted him with so many talents, a wonderful sense of humor, humility and warmth. We miss him greatly and love you all. You are in our prayers.

Remembering what dear neighbors you were, and leaving Smallwood about the same time we did. So sorry you have lost Tom. Don too went to heaven in 2017. Our daughters have been a great help to me so I'll stay in my little apartment on Concord Place as long as I can.
Love,
Louise Berg
