Tommy thank you for all the wonderful memories of you and Branden in our back yard fishing, kayaking, snowboarding, playing pond hockey and just sitting by the bond fire rapping to your favorite tunes. And dont forget the fireworks over the water. I will cherish your wonderful smile and kindness and your friendship that you and Branden shared . You will be missed from our lives but I will cherish all of these wonderful memories. Rest in piece Tommy we love you and thank you for being a big part of our lives.🙏

Tommy always entered our fifth grade classroom with joy in his heart and other students were drawn to him like a magnet. He was a friend to everyone and one of the most kind-hearted, caring students that I ever had, even to a small caterpillar. Tommy loved to be loved and responded best to positivity. One day Tommy and Katie Mazierski were playing with a caterpillar on the playground. The next day when we went outside, Tommy said to Katie, "Let's find our caterpillar, I think he is over by the fence." Katie responded, "You are so right!" In a flash, they both ran to the fence to locate their caterpillar. When Katie said those words "You are so right" to Tommy, he lit up like the sun. I never forgot that moment in time. I have shared that story many times and to this day use the phrase "You are so right" with others because of the way it affected Tommy in such a joyful, positive manner. Each time I've done so, which is often, I've thought of Tommy and Katie. Love you, Tommy, feeling more blessed than ever to have shared a year on earth with you. Surely you are in the loving arms of our Lord.

An Exceptional young man left this world way to soon. As his body lies in peaceful rest, we can take comfort knowing his spirit will remain with us for ever. Thomas received his incredible kindness and caring from his mother, his strength and character from his father. When our hearts ache, wishing he was with us, we only need to look at his parents to know he still is.

Even at 2 years old, Thomas knew who spilled the beer...

My thoughts are with the entire Burket family during this very tough time.

You were my biggest supporter when we got our motorcycle licenses together. We'd get the group pumped up by honking the horns to drive our instructor nuts as we practiced figure 8's! I picked up a cicada and accidentally flung it at you because it freaked me out and you laughed because I was the crazy bug-loving vegan who refused a Paula's donut.
When we finally got the chance to ride together I ended up flipping my bike and you helped me stand it up and we laughed and ate smushed homemade donuts while I figured out how to tell my dad what happened. As fate would have it, an ER nurse happened to ride her bicycle by and rushed me to her house and you called me after to make sure I was okay and kept apologizing even though none of that was your fault. While I recovered we binge played R6 Siege and iMessage games. I'm sorry we never got the chance to go on a ride together after, and every time I go out I'll think of you. You're a great guy, everyone who met you knows that. See you someday on the other side..

“Tommy The Face”.......you all have nicknames on the job. If I had a son, I’d sure want him to be just like you,! You, your brother, and your cousin Bubba are like our nephews. Even like sons at times. That beautiful smile will go on forever in our hearts. If you can, protect the guys on the job site and give them a little sign here and there to let them know you’re there with them always. Karl misses you so much already as so many of us do. My grandma always tells me, “It’s never goodbye, it’s until we meet again”. And that we will. We love you. Rest easy. May your light shine forever and always. Love, Karl and Chrissy xoxo ~
