Timothy F. Johnson

Of Ontario, New York, entered into rest peacefully on April 17, 2026, at the age of 82. He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia Comery Johnson. The son of the late Thomas F Johnson and Mary Brady Johnson.

Tim was a devoted and loving father to Debra (Terry) Jardine, David (Sarah) Johnson, and Danielle Johnson and preceded in death by his son Richard Thomas Johnson. A caring stepfather to Michele Comery, Thomas (Terri) Comery, Carolyn Powers, Timothy Comery, and Michael (Wendy) Comery. He was a proud grandfather to Brittiney (Mike), Branden, Averyanna, Jeremiah, Elijah, and Isaiah, and also to Rachel, Andrea, Garrick, Alana, and Raina. He is further survived by four great-grandchildren.

He was a dear brother to Pat (Pep) Johnson, Peggy Nichols, Joanie Johnson, and Jane Osz, and will be fondly remembered by many loving nieces and nephews.

Tim lived a life defined by service, humility, and quiet strength. He proudly served his country in the Strategic Air Command of the United States Air Force for eight years as a Vietnam veteran. He dedicated more than 50 years as a volunteer fireman with the Ontario and Williamson Fire Companies and generously gave his time for a decade volunteering with the Ronald McDonald House of Rochester, NY. Tim worked for Xerox Corp. for almost 35 years where he obtained his master’s degree from RIT in chemical engineering and holds multiple patents for dry ink production.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Alvah Halloran & Son Funeral Home, 2125 Chili Avenue, Rochester, NY, where a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 PM.

Interment will take place at Western New York National Cemetery in June 2026; a date will be announced.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tim’s memory to the Ontario Fire Company, 6160 Walter Cone Drive, Ontario, NY 14519.
