Vincent Louis Polito, of Williamsville, entered into rest on May 25, 2021 at age 78. Beloved husband of 54 years to Kathleen (nee Hassenfratz) Polito; devoted father of Laura (Donald) Tucker, Joseph (Donna) Polito, and Elizabeth Polito; cherished grandfather of Adam (fiancée Taylor Lennert), Jonathan and Matthew Tucker, Anna and Jenna Polito, and the late Sarah Grace Tucker; loving son of the late Charles and Grace (nee Tramont) Polito; dear brother of Ann (late Thomas) Carroll, Marge (Nils) Hjalmarson, the late Anthony (Mae) Polito, the late Charles (Janelle) Polito and the late Joseph (Louise) Polito; also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the PERNA, DENGLER, ROBERTS FUNERAL HOME, 1671 Maple Rd. Williamsville, on Thursday (May 27, 2021) from 4-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gregory the Great Church, 200 St. Gregory Ct. (Corner of Maple Rd.), Williamsville, on Friday (May 28, 2021) at 1 pm. Please assemble at church. Lou was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was on a ship in the Cuban Blockade. Lou was a banker, musician and the owner of Creekview Estates Apartments in Lockport and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lou’s memory may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or the American Lung Association.
