

Vera Becker Arrison, 94, of Buffalo, passed away on May 2, 2026. She was born on August 15, 1931, in Lantz Corners to Howard and Georgina Becker, one of four sisters. Her surviving sister Phyllis Walter predeceased death Delores McNeil, Bonnie Frainier.
Affectionately known as “Vee,” she was baptized in 1932 in the Methodist Church in LaFayette. She graduated in 1949 from Mount Jewett High School, where she served as secretary of her senior class and was part of "The Magician" yearbook.
Vera attended Bradford Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in September 1952. She became a Registered Nurse in December 1952 and was licensed to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New York in August 1957. She devoted her career to caring for others at DeGraff Memorial Hospital and Deaconess Hospital.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Regan (Arrison) and Craig Arrison.
Barbara was married to the late Lawrence Regan. Her family includes her daughter Kelly Bouli (Regan), Kelly’s husband Patrick, and their children: Sunny, Rudy, and Magic; along with Emily Regan, James Regan and his wife Kaley; great-grandchildren: Theodore, Monroe, William Regan and his wife Tara. Vera was lovingly known as “Mor Mor” to Barbara’s children and her great-grandchildren.
Craig’s family includes his children: Holly Arrison, Hayden Arrison, and Hunter Arrison, who knew her as “Far Mor.”
Her love lives on in the generations who knew her as Vee, Mor Mor, and Far Mor.
