ALESSANDRA - Vincent J. October 31, 2019, husband of the late Christine (Cannella); dear father of David (Sharan) and the late Jaimie Alessandra; loving grandfather of Amanda, Jake, Teresa, Danielle and the late Vincent Alessandra; great-grandfather of Lavinia; survived by five rothers, one sister, many nieces, nephews and dear friends and dear companion Sherry. Family will be present for Memorial visitation on Saturday, November 23, from 2-4:30 PM, followed by a tribute of Vince’s life at the PERNA, DENGLER, ROBERTS FUNERAL HOME, 1671 Maple Road. Vincent was born in Buffalo in 1927, oldest of eight children, born and raised on the West side. He lived a colorful and adventurous youth receiving his GED and attending business school. He married his true love, Christine at the age of 20 and together they lived a happy and full life with their two children, David and Jaimie. In the early 60’s his family moved to the suburbs, Vince worked various jobs to support his family. In the late 60’s, Vince and Christine took a chance and invested their savings in a relatively unknown franchise called Arby’s; fast forward a decade later, with the help of family and friends, the single location had grown into 14 locations. He will be remembered for his devotion to his family, the many holiday parties, his love of dining out especially his favorite restaurant Sinatra’s. He made an impression on all who knew him, he will be greatly missed, but now will be reunited with his wife, Christine; daughter, Jaimie and grandson, Vinnie. In lieu of flowers, donations in Vince’s name may be made to the Erie County SPCA. Online condolences may be offered at www.denglerrobertspernafuneral.com

You will hold a very special place in our hearts forever! Remembering all the wonderful times together in Aruba and how you would take my granddaughter Kaylee into the little Doll house at Amici’s and pretend to have a tea party while we were all enjoying our cappuccinos and laughing at you in that little house!! You certainly made an impression on everyone who met you! We love you so much and will miss you dearly! Give Chris, Vin and Jamie a big hug from us! Until we meet again “dad” ❤️😘

Just a tribute to a great man - my Uncle Jim and a thank you for creating so many wonderful memories for our family, bringing us together for so many years at your Christmas Eve party. My favorite Christmas memories will always be the Christmas Eve party at your house with Aunt Chris. Our family will not be the same without you but we will find comfort in the beautiful memories you helped to create.
