Barbara Sue Basom

Barbara Sue Basom, 87, of Skokie, IL, devoted & loving mother of Dawn Lowenthal, Stacey Lowenthal, Kathy(Skip) Johnson, Joanne (Larry) Brand; proud "Bubby" of Chrysalis (Mark), Amanda, AJ, Nathaniel (Annie), Andrew; adored great-grandmother of Amaya and Kainoa. Affectionate dog lover of many; most notably the late Joey whom she cherished. Barbara enjoyed many hobbies such as knitting, puzzles, and classical music. Later in life, she discovered world travel and enjoyed many group tour adventures around the world. Above all Barbara loved her family and home where many fond memories were made during holiday dinners. She will be greatly missed.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 29th, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Westlawn Cemetery in the Maple Section, 7801 W Montrose Ave, Norridge, IL.
