To David, and the rest of Barbara's family, I want to extend my deepest condolences.  I'm so sorry for your loss and for being unable to attend today's service. 

Jeff and I were best friends from early grade school through high school.  Barbara has always been my 2nd mom.  Throughout my life she always had a big smile for me and I always felt her love.  Especially in the last few years when I would visit her, she enjoyed telling me the circumstances of how she/Howard first moved to Northbrook. How Jeff and I would call from a movie theater pleading for her to drive over and give us more candy money (and she did).  And, how lucky she was to have married 3 wonderful men...and how sad it was to lose them.

Barbara, thank you for being the best 2nd mom ever.  I will miss you very much.

Sending love and healing to all who knew and loved Auntie Barbara.  She was so full of poise beauty, class and positivity.  Always, the most gracious hostess,  a generous wit and charm.  Many Tender memories from childhood abound.  We’ll miss her presence. May Barbara’s memory be a blessing.  💔Cyndi, Phil & family

My Auntie Barbara was one of a kind. So incredibly nice and thoughtful, but also saw the truth when few others saw it. Always had a smile on her face. She will be terribly missed. Love you 😘

The sheer number of Barbara’s loved ones from throughout her whole life is a testament to the wonderful person she was and to how she lived her life. She had an amazing and contagious positive spirit and energy. I had the privilege to know Barbara and her family for many years.  She was a force of nature, a strong person no matter what life threw at her, and a source of strength to everyone. Barbara never failed to show me kindness, love, respect and compassion.  I saw her show this and much more to her entire family who meant everything to her. She was one of the most loyal and reliable people I’ve ever encountered. I am deeply sorry for your loss, and as you grieve her passing, I have faith that the amazing person she was to you will live on with you in your hearts forever. She will in mine.

Sending my sincerest condolences for an exceptional woman and long-time friend to so many.  I felt so privileged to have known her from the time I was a little girl, living next door.  May her memory be for a blessing forevermore.
