Words cannot express the profound loss of my dearest friend, Barbara. We met in 4th grade and from then on we were inseparable. Either I was at her house or she was at mine. I became a part of the Neason family. Her father wanted to
“adopt” me.
We confided in and trusted each other. We’ve lived close to each other even as adults. My memories will forever remain in my heart.
Goodbye, dear friend.

I have been thing about you all during this very difficult time. Barbara was a very nice lady and I was happy to have known her. She was always very welcoming and always seemed so happy. I can only imagine the pain that you are feeling. Cherish the good times and memories. I hope you will find piece during this tough time because I believe she would have wanted you to have that.

Here's knowing that Barbie will be singing Swedish Christmas songs in the next life. My sister was always positive, never tolerated meanness, unfairness, or bigotry. She lived far north, but traveled far south to help the most needy students lost in a system which, but for people like her, were all but academically forgotten at the time. Courageous, generous, gentle, steady, hilarious, always there for you, especially in difficult times. Wonderful Sister, Mother, Grandmother, Auntie, Daughter, Friend, Consoler, Decorator of Christmas trees. Expert "rubber legs" dancer and be-bop-a-loo-bopper.

Miss you Barbie. Say hello to Mom and Dad...
