Barbara E. Schwimmer nee' Grund, 100, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 9, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Cantor Moses Schwimmer; loving mother of Celia (Dr. Paul) Arnold, Joel (Kristen McBride) Schwimmer, and William (Linda Slavik) Schwimmer; cherished grandmother of Helen (Matthew) Alvis, Joshua (Sydney) Arnold, and Hannah (John Williams) Schwimmer; and great grandmother of Sophie and Max.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, January 12, 2025, 12:30 PM at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd, Wilmette, IL 60091. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 Gross Point Rd, Skokie, IL 60076.
