Beverly Ann Moultrie nee Walker, born in Fort Madison, IA on October 27, 1936 and a resident of Wilmette for over fifty years, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2021. Beverly graduated from Nauvoo High School and Western Illinois University. While at Western Illinois, she met her husband, Robert G. Moultrie, PhD, to whom she was happily married for forty three years until his passing in 2002. A lover of literature and libraries, Bev taught English at Wilmette Junior High School and was a thirty year volunteer at the Wilmette Public Library. The loves of her life were Bob, reading, teaching and cooking (or collecting cookbooks). Interested and interesting, Bev and Bob both left small towns in Illinois to forge lives of service in education in Wilmette and Highland Park.
