Beverly Persky, nee Lipsky, was preceded in death by her beloved son Jonathan E. Persky. She was the devoted mother of Abby Persky (Robert Delforge); cherished grandmother of Madeleine (Bradley) Hale and Connor Delforge; caring daughter of the late Harry M. and Ida Lipsky; dear sister of the late Norma (late Leonard) Sulkin; loving aunt and cousin of many. Beverly was the co-founder with her former husband the late Seymour H. Persky of Parliament Enterprises, Ltd. She earned her Masters Degree in Education from the University of Chicago. She treasured her involvement with Jewish and secular philanthropic organizations, including but not limited to: Lake Shore Drive Synagogue, English Speaking Union, the Chicago Historical Society, Israel Bonds, Spertus Institute, and the DePaul University Theater School. Beverly will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. Funeral service Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2:30 PM at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd, Wilmette. Interment private.
