Carol Nasaw Hurvitz, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Born with an unwavering spirit, Carol was a dedicated wife to her husband, Michael Hurvitz, and cherished mother to her only daughter, Amy Nasaw and son-in-law, Ken Johnson.
Carol embraced her role as a stepmother to Aaron Hurvitz, Todd Hurvitz and his wife, Madison, and Stacy Hurvitz McGinty and her husband, Mike McGinty. She was a proud grandmother to her grandchildren: Iona, Rachel, Abe, and Leah, whom she adored immensely.
A passionate advocate for contemporary art, Carol found joy and inspiration in her artistic pursuits, which she shared with countless friends. Her courageous battle with Parkinson's showcased her fearless nature, leaving a legacy of resilience and love.
Carol will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum, 9900 Gross Point Road, Skokie, IL on July 3, 2026, at 11:00 am.
