I inherited from you your strength, determination and stubbornness. You always said push yourself, you can do anything you put your mind to. I also inherited your passion for chocolate, shopping for clothes, make-up, and earrings. You can never have enough earrings.
I inherited from my father his passion for politics, to see the world more realistically, and his incredible sense of humor. So, no worries mom, your rebellious teenage daughter grew up and did OK for herself. Mom's two favorite songs were "You Light Up My Life" and "Unforgettable". Whenever we walked off the elevator and she saw us, her face would light up, especially when she saw Carme! And, Celia Decker, you are one tough, courageous unforgettable woman. At the end of every conversation, Mom would say, "I love you - Bye there". And, so for now, I'll say, "Bye there". We love you and we'll miss you.
Love always,
Carme & Dotty
