David H. Hymes, 103. Beloved husband of the late Evaline; devoted father of Rhonda (late Steven) Robinson and Helaine (Joel) Lazar; cherished grandfather of Erin and Sara Robinson, Cory (Traci) Lazar, and Wendy (Nick) Hurd; proud great-grandfather of Colton, Beckett, and Braelyn; dear brother of the late Rose (late Murray) Kammer; loving uncle of many nieces and nephews; caring longtime companion of Irene Goodman. David was a proud WWII Veteran, earning the rank of 1st Lieutenant and a Purple Heart. He was a past National Commander of Jewish War Veterans and founder and local past Commander of Post 800. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Due to the current health situation, services are private but can be found on the Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home Facebook page Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 11 am.
