Deanne Breakstone, nee Slott, 85. Beloved wife of the late James Breakstone and longtime companion of the late Walter Jackson; devoted mother of Lisa Breakstone Curley and Laura Breakstone (Joel) Blumenau; proud grandmother of Jessica Curley and Helena and Sydnie Blumenau; dear sister of Dr. Robert Slott; cherished daughter of the late Henry and Helen Slott; loving niece of the late Dr. Irving Slott; caring dog-mom of Nicole and Gardenia. Deanne’s favorite activity was spoiling her grandchildren. She could often be found in Scottsdale, AZ at her second home, or at Charlie Beinlich’s in Northbrook. She will be deeply missed. Graveside service Sunday, March 27, 12:30 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 Gross Point Rd, Skokie.
