Deborah L. Faiman-Meyerson was a native of Las Vegas, Nevada. She attended Western high school in Las Vegas and received a BS degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), in Hotel Administration and Business. She spent decades on the Las Vegas strip as a manager of various Motels. She dedicated a dormitory on the UNLV campus in her parent’s name “Margie Faiman and Robert L. Faiman Sr”. Debbie continued her philanthropic efforts. She funded an endowed chair in nephrology at UCSF medical center in San Francisco and educational gifts to UCLA and the Rosalind Franklin School of Medicine and Science and Cal Tech.
She was an avid snow skier and enjoyed the outdoors. Her passion was traveling the world.
Deborah is survived by her loving husband Dr. Laurence R. Meyerson, her cousins Nancy Faiman and Randy Faiman, Larry Balma and her niece Allyson Faiman and nephew Robert Faiman Jr. Deborah was the daughter of the late Margie Faiman and Robert L. Faiman Sr.
