Dorothy Vines

Dorothy Harrison Vines, 99, of Evanston, IL passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021. Dorothy was born in Pittsburgh, PA the only daughter of Ralph Harrison and Frances Harrison (Mazur). A lifelong learner and voracious reader Dorothy received her Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Pittsburgh. Loving, generous and kind, with a sharp intellect and a keen sense of humor she made friends wherever she went. She loved travel, art, theater, dancing, music, Mahjong and taking care of her family. She is survived by her children: Rick Vines of Barrington, IL , Patti Vines of Evanston, IL and her grandchildren: Rupert Murray of Chicago, IL and Madeline Vines of Barrington, IL . She was preceded in death by her husband, George Vines (2017), son, Jeffrey Vines (1954), her father (1952) and mother (1939).
