Elsie Sandler Friedson, nee Wolf, 96. Beloved wife of the late Jerome Sandler and Yyna Friedson; devoted mother of Everett Scott (Marilyn) Sandler, Mitchell H. (Danielle) Sandler, Sharon E. (Bill) Surna, and Lauren Beth (Dave) Shepard; loving grandmother of Rachel Gila (Tomer) Dagmi, Joshua David Sandler, Chaya Sara Sandler (Ben Bernstein), Shoshanna Yael Simche Sandler, Jeremy Shepard, Robert (Marci) Shepard, and Sarah Surna; proud great-grandmother of Maya Leah, David Ovadia, Tamar Florin, and Chana Nuria Dagmi and Isaac Shai Raphael and Gabriella Meira Sandler; dear aunt of Lynda (Milt) Erickson, Barry (Donna) Gilbert, Elynne (Tom) Cunningham, Sonny (Fred) Goynshor, Ricki (Alan) Lieberman, and the late Stuart Wolf and Marc Gilbert. A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 29, 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Rd (enter off of Wilke), Arlington Heights. It will also be streamed.
