I am saddened to read this. Gladys was one of my greeters at Lifelong Learning Society. I talked to her 2 weeks ago and told her to keep me posted. The last few months of school I knew she wasn't well, but she ALWAYS came to work and always had a smile. I am heart broken over the loss of such a beautiful person. Wendi Geller

To the Kaplan Children.  I was sorry to learn of your mother's passing.  I  worked at Thomas Jefferson Junior High School with Gladys.  I came to the school in 1969, and Gladys took me under her wing and helped me through my first year in Teaneck.  (I ended up staying 40 years.)  Gladys and Aaron often invited my wife and me to their lovely home here in Teaneck.  I am sure that you have comforting memories of your mother.  She was a wonderful person.  David Sosland (Teaneck)
