My condolences to the entire family and community.  I met Hanna in 2018.
Hanna, was a wonderful person. 
I enjoyed teaching Hanna  how to use the 
ClearCaptions phone. Hanna was very smart and eager to learn how to use the ClearCaptions phone.   Since, sometimes she could not hear every word of what a caller said.  Hanna was able to read the large text on display of the telephone. The text she preferred was Black background with Large white letters. Hanna had a vision issue but, that didn’t stop her. Hanna would take out her magnifier to read.   Even-though, Hanna was 103 she was unstoppable and completely participated in different activities in her community. God bless you Hanna may you rest in peace.

Dear Rudy, Stanley and family,
My deepest condolences on the passing of Hanna, my aunt.  The service was a wonderful tribute  to a truly remarkable woman.  After the ceremony I immediately reread her book!  My dad her brother, Kurt never shared what happened during the Holocaust, but many conversations ,with Hanna, provided me with insight.  
Hanna, will be sorely missed, but your many wonderful adventures and memories created with her, will live on!  How lucky I was to be a part of her family.

Hannah Bratman was like a second mother to me when I was growing up. As a girl of 9 and older, I used to go to their home... (I remember it being by the el tracks???) to play with Rudy. Hannah, was always there to feed us and talk to us.  Always with a smile on her face, and never in too much a hurry to talk! Those adults who were kind and nurturing in my childhood will forever be part of who I am today.  Thank you Dear Hannah,  All limy love, Karin Hubert Kelber

Hannah Bratman was a wonderful woman who helped me throughout my life. She possessed a great wisdom. Stanley used to come to the beach and Loyola fieldhouse when I lived  on Greenleaf and East of Sheridan and I may have met her then or perhaps it was my meeting you through Judy Freifeld ( now Ward). She helped me get a job. At Social Research Incorporated. I really loved her. She was devoted when her Eugene was ill. I think she was very special. May she rest in peace. Kalman
