Hannah (Schoen) Helfand, age 72, a resident of Northbrook, passed away peacefully in her home, Wednesday, December 9, 2020. She was born in 1948 in Tel Aviv, Israel. Devoted wife of Marty Helfand, mother of David (Lisa) Helfand, proud grandmother of Ari and Emily Helfand, and loving sister to Michael Schoen. Beloved aunt, sister-in-law, cousin, and friend. Hannah had a successful career in educational film sales before developing health issues. A lover of scrabble, books, languages, and being with loved ones, Hannah will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
