Harold Leonard Sampson, 86, passed away on February 4, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Terry Lee Sampson; dear brother of the late Arnold Sampson and Agnes Lee; devoted father of Roberta (David) Swidersky, Debra (Eduard) Boogaard and Arthur (Sue) Sampson; cherished grandfather of 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Harold loved music and played the Hawaiian guitar; he loved to fish, enjoyed oil painting and had a love for reading. He was a published poet and a jewelery maker. Graveside service Friday, 1:30 p.m., at Waldheim Jewish Cemetery, 1700 S. Harlem Ave, North Riverside IL, Gate 300. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
