Beloved wife of Kaye Switzer; loving daughter of the late Sam Sagalow and Rosline Bennett; cherished sister of Jay (Carolyn) Barnett, Ilene (Dan) Cromer, and the late Lana Bergman; treasured aunt of Amanda (Matt Staton) Barnett, Alan Barnett, Shannon (Chris Shumate), Jason (Nikki), and Matthew Cusano, and Stephen Turgeon; loving niece of Sarah (late Seymour) Kerbis, Leon (Lee) Weisman, Jack (Bobbie) Weisman, Beverly (Jake) Siegel, and the late Alvin Dempsey, Dave (late Fern) Weisman, Vera Humphrey, and Sylvia (late Pat) Gotfried; devoted dogmom of Friday, Sunny, and Terry; will be deeply missed by many great-nieces and nephews, close cousins, and dear friends. Harriet started her career in the top salons on Chicago's famous Michigan Ave. and Oak St. She moved to Los Angeles, the capital of the movie & television world, where she toured with celebrities all over the world. For 21 years, she owned the successful Sagalow Hair Studio in West Hollywood. Harriet always strove to make each and every one of her clients feel better and happier about themselves.
