As a student of Ms, Morrow's in U.S. History in about 1980-1981 I will always remember her animated recreations of pivotal moments and her strong affinity for Andrew Jackson, the 7th U.S. President and the REAL founder of the Democratic Party!
Ms. Morrow was a pro and so obviously cared deeply about her calling in life and the importance of truly reaching every student in her classroom and drawing them into her enthusiasm for history. She is unforgettable.
My sincerest condolences to her family and friends!

Helen Morrow was my most favorite teacher in high school! I went into History class thinking I was going to be bored to tears (I'm a left-brained scientist)...but she made history real - exciting. I so enjoyed talking with her...she knew politics, knew the names of most all of the U.S. Senators. My sincere condolences to any survivors! Bill Steffen - Grand Rapids, Michigan
