

Ace was born on December 7, 1933 in Chicago, IL. A graduate of Northwestern University, Ace is predeceased by his wife, Enid. Together, Ace and Enid raised two children, Bob (Tina) and Ann (Mike). In addition to his children, Ace is survived by six grandchildren, Dakota, Melissa (Hunter), Rebecca, Elissa, Julia, and Danielle; great grandson, Carter; brother, Louis (Claire) Schwartz; and niece, Gayle (Steve) Curl. Ace is also predeceased by his partner Sandy, who is survived by John (Tim), Aryn (Steve), Gina (Steve), and granddaughter Carly.
Over four decades, Ace worked for only two companies: Bell and Howell and Performance Analytics. Throughout his career, he served in human resources and as a CFO. He took great pride in his work and in later years loved to take classes at the senior center and spend his time reading.
Ace was also a beloved friend who stayed close to his friends throughout the years. He was known for throwing annual Chanukah parties on Christmas Day, he had regular dinners with his friends from college, and he loved to frequent Ravinia concerts.
A graveside service for Ace will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2021, 2:00 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 Gross Point Road, Skokie, IL 60076.
