So very sorry to learn today of Irving's death earlier this month. We had a very pleasant dinner and visit when we were in Winnetka in 2013. She was a joy, and a wonderful listener with an impish sense of humor. All of you have my condolences; what a great lady and mother she was!

We will miss dear Irving very much. She was a great friend, full of wisdom and strength, and a favorite cousin. We are so sorry for your loss and ours.

May the God of all comfort provide the bereaved family with whatever is needed so you can cope with your great loss. Psalms 83:18.

Dear Irving - my brother Matt just told me about your mother's death.  I wanted to extend my sympathy.  I have such fond memories of both of your parents. Your mother was such a good friend to my mom (Barbara Mason Skinner) during her illness.  She came to Evanston Hospital when my mom was dying and talked so lovingly to her.  I will always remember her beautiful smile.  Thanks for sharing the picture of her - so gorgeous.  I know you will miss her.  Please extend my condolences to your siblings.  Molly Mason
