Irwin "Irv" Veit, age 94, of Deerfield, formerly Lincolnwood. Beloved husband and very best friend of Alice, nee Levy, for 68 wonderful years. Dearly loved father of Lynne (Howard) Caplan and Hope (Dr. Steven) Leibsohn. Adored papa of Stacey (Adam), Julie (Jeremy), Brandon, and Dr. Chanel. Proud and cherished great grandfather of Mark and Ryan. Beloved brother of Richard (Lois). Former owner and president of Bright Electrical Supply Company for 40 years. Those of us fortunate to know him understand the light in the world is a little dimmer with his passing. Cherished, respected, and very good friend of so many. He will be very deeply missed.
