Jack Fridkin sadly left an unfillable space in our world. A wonderful father to 3 caring children, a loving husband to Alice Fridkin (1944-1996) and Jean Marie Fridkin (1997-2021), grandfather, uncle, cousin, mentor and friend to many grateful people.
A proud veteran of World War II, a golfer, baseball fan, dancer and man of passion and purpose. Always smiling, he brought joy to many. A man from humble beginnings and limited education, he became a self-made man who proudly built a large business that even had a street named after it!
He was blessed with 101 years of a very happy, fulfilling life and spread joy and humor wherever he went. Though he will be greatly missed, those who knew him feel enriched and blessed by the time they got to share with him. An amazing role model and great inspiration to many, he was always a friend to all.

Always there to light up the room, Jack! You will be missed.

I remember Jack as a fun-loving guy who was always looking for a way to laugh or encourage those around him to laugh. While I didn’t get to spend too much time with Jack, other than gatherings and an occasional golf game, the time with him was always enjoyable. He will be missed.

We are neighbors of Jack and Jean in St Louis. Jack and Jean were always a second set of grandparents to our 2 boys who always seemed to wander over to the house. Jack would always welcome them in. While the boys played with whatever toys were around Jack and I would exchange wise cracks with Jean in the background saying. ..” oh Jack ...”. Jack and I would also meet at the mailbox many times and have great discussions. Many times, Jean would come searching for him because he was gone so long.
