James S. Belsky, beloved son of the late Samuel and Alexandra; devoted husband and best friend for 56 years of Janet, née Tsoglina; loving father of Svetlana Belsky (Alex Korsky); proud grandfather, "D'ed," of Samuel Korsky. James's dad tragically died before he was born and he was raised by his young mom, Alexandra. In 1979, at the age of 37, James came to the United States. He was a hard worker, achieved an illustrious career, and was very well respected as he was the one who tested air quality in factories that made the medications we all use - he would check for any contaminations. He truly kept people safe all over the world. Throughout his entire life, he made everyone around him smile. He will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association Greater Chicago Chapter, webchicago.alsa.org.
