James Howard Lusk, age 80, passed away peacefully on January 29th, 2019. Born September 1938 in Norwalk, CT he was the son of Louis Tiffany Lusk and Eloise Prentice Lusk, brother to the late Graham Lusk and beloved husband to the late Janet Armstrong Lusk. Devoted father to Wendy (Fred) Lundgren and Andrew (Dana) Lusk. Loving Pop Pop to Clark, Addison and James Lundgren, and William Lusk.
Jim graduated from Brooks School and Yale University, which he attended with his cousins Bill, Hunt and Charlie Lusk. He commenced his career with Bankers Trust in NYC before moving to Northern Trust, where he had a successful career in municipal bond underwriting. The Northern relocated Jim and his young family from Darien, CT to Chicago in 1975. In the proceeding decades the Lusk family enjoyed a happy life in Wilmette, IL and shared numerous memorable moments together in their home in Galena and during spring breaks in Siesta Key, FL, and in later years while visiting Kennebunkport, ME. Jim was a proud father and husband and a kind individual who like his father before him was programed to help people in need. He was devoted to his church and cherished his time at the Saturday morning Men’s Council meetings.
