As a fellow Realtor, I use to tell him  every time we would meet "that he was really one of the good guys and that he was."  you felt some kind of magic when he was around.  Jay  please continue to share that magic with us.

Dear Fran  and Family,

The day we moved onto the 4100 bock of Enfield in Skokie, there came a knock on our door.  The year was 1985 and Jay was 4 years old.   "Hi, my name is Jay, I'm 4, do you have kids?, do you have cookies?"   Here was this adorable vivacious little chubby boy, who I foundly called "Juicy Jay".  He became a regular feature at our house.  He played, he ate, and he asked a million questions.  Jay wanted to know about everyone and everything.  I knew back then that he was no ordinary child and he would push and succeed in his adventures in life.  
I'm so sorry we lost contact with you and your family when you moved away and  I wish I had known you as an adult.  

I'm glad and proud that you strived so hard to live your life to the fullest. 

Our family is so sorry for your loss,.

I was surprised and saddened by this announcement in Crains.  I first learned of Jay on his Bravo show and he was my favorite, I enjoyed his sense of style and business savvy, the Flats.  So sorry for your loss.

     Jay was a blessing, and you are lucky to have had such a wonderful son and brother to share your lives with.  I remember after we were done with college, during our late twenties, Mark would always be busy on Sunday afternoon, because he always went home to spend time with his baby brother.
      Jay will be missed, but never forgotten.  The Michael family is blessed to have had a wonderful son and brother.
