 Aside from family, Dr. Spector was my greatest role model in childhood and beyond. He was a tremendously kind man who spent his life inspiring and helping countless people, myself included. I am so sorry for your loss.

I am saddened. I lost touch with him and did not know as I live in Indiana. 

Dr. Spector helped me greatly, as I was in transition in my late 30s.

I have had a pretty long teaching career (22 years and counting), picking up a Master of Science  in Education at 49 and just finished my Ph.D.  in Science Education at 62.

I owe him greatly for helping me to reset my life.

I’m very sorry for your loss.  My office was across the hall from Jeff for many years.  He was always willing to offer advice and on occasion even asked for some.  He often had interesting or funny stories to tell and spoke about his grandchildren with great pleasure. He will be missed.

Jeff and I grew up together (well maybe we didn’t really grow up), and stayed in contact throughout.  He was fun to be with, had a wonderful sense of humor, and a great thirst for knowledge – whether it be exceedingly important or somewhat irrelevant.  A great friend throughout our childhoods to the present.  When I was going through some tough times he would call “just to talk” but it was more, he was helping me through.  He and Lisa helped our son with his application to medical school.  Many years ago, during the Woodstock musical festival (Jeff was a medical student at the time), he volunteered and was transported by Army helicopter to the festival site to provide medical care to the assembled crowd.  
I could go on, but, Jeff was brief, concise and to the point – so I will try be also.  We all have lost a truly wonderful person, a genuine mensch!  May his memory be a blessing!

Uncle Jeff could talk about anything, and his quick wit and humor made it even better.  I genuinely enjoyed every conversation we had.  He will be missed immensely.

Aurora & Bram, as you know, our fathers went to medical school together and introduced your parents to each other. Uncle Jeffrey was a big influence to me. He was great man and will will never forget  who he was.
