Jerome Golden (Jerry), born April 8, 1929 in Chicago, IL, passed peacefully May 17, 2021. Adored husband of 62 11/12 years to Fern Golden Née Derlighter. Son of Blanche and Morris Golden (Deceased). Father to Neal and Laura (Deceased). Brother to Lila Leventhal. He was a devoted Uncle and Great Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Jerry graduated from Roosevelt University then was drafted into the Army during the Korean War and earned the National Defense Service Medal as well as a Good Conduct Medal.
A lifelong Bulls fanatic witnessing all 6 championships with season tickets. He loved to swim, read and go to concerts at Ravinia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to City of Hope, 1500 East Duarte Road, Duarte, CA 91010. His most cherished time was the time he spent with Fern. He will be forever loved and missed.
