Jerome Peters, 78, of Chicago. Cherished brother of Ross (Sandra Weisman Peters) Peters and the late Joy Segal; proud uncle of Craig (Bridget) Peters, Alison Peters, Danielle Grafman and Bryan (Christina) Segal; loving great uncle of Carson, Presleigh, Jacob, Joslynn, Jackson and Ben; beloved son of the late Herman and late Beatrice. Jerome loved the sciences. As a youth Jerome won the Chicago Science Fair. He was able to graduate from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He loved dogs and the holidays. Jerome always did the best that he could. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 20, 2025 at Westlawn Cemetery 7801 W. Montrose Avenue, Norridge, Illinois 60706 in the Carnation Section. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (nami.org) and the Michael J. Fox Foundation (michaeljfox.org) are appreciated.
