To all of the Conroys,

I just learned last evening of John's passing. Ditto all that Tom said! John was a second father to so many of us that worked (can we call it work?) at Scandia in our high school and college days. What a mentor! I can still peel a potato, wash a pot, figure out sales tax in my head and do things without cutting corners because of John. A great man!

Bill and Jan,

I am sorry to hear of John's passing. John was a mentor to me for much more than learning to work in a kitchen, he explified what is was to be a caring individual who was compassionate for so many. I often think if the time I spent at Scandia and the examples on how to live life John gave me. I think about him often and will not forget the examples he set. I pray that he is resting comfortably and knows he accomplished so many great things.
