

Judith B. Wolfson, 82, of Chicago. Cherished sister of Alan (Connie) Wolfson; loving aunt of David (Lynn Wichern) Wolfson, Devi (Bob Trimmer) Wolf, and Rachel (Mark) Helinski; proud great aunt of Harley (Alex) Seymour, Carter Helinski, Emma Wolfson and Jared Helinski. Born in Chicago, IL to Lucille and Kalman Wolfson, Judy was a devoted daughter.
She attended Sullivan High school and later went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling. Judy spent her entire career with the Chicago Public School System as a beloved high school math teacher and later as guidance counselor to her students. Judy also worked as a freelance photographer and real estate agent. Judy had many interests and hobbies including collecting elephant figurines, playing piano, and gardening. She was very proud of her rose garden and photographed her favorite yellow roses regularly. Family was very important to Judy, and though she never had children of her own, she raised her dog Ginger with the most love and care and had great love for her friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 13, 2025, at Memorial Park Cemetery 9900 Gross Point Road, Skokie, Illinois 60076.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to American Brain Tumor Association, Parkinson’s Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sister of Metropolitan Chicago, Center on Halsted (lgbtqia+ services) would be appreciated.
