Leslie Ann West “Peppy,” 87, beloved sister of the late Helen Drucker and sister - in - law of Leonard Drucker; loving daughter of the late Henry and Ruth West; treasured aunt of Dr. Robyn Glickman (David) and Michelle Drucker; cherished great aunt of Dr. Helene Glickman (Dr. Matthew Federbush), Daniel Glickman (Shayna), and Alexandra Glickman; caring special friend of Shemecia Haskell, Leah Animashaun, Jo’el Haskell, and Tanisha Evans - her angel; dear friend of many. Leslie's family would like to especially thank the amazing staff at Meadows Home for taking care of her with such love and devotion. Leslie always had a smile on her face and was welcoming and friendly to all. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. She had such a fun spirit and zest for life. She always took the time to ask how others were doing. She considered you like family, even if she only met you one time. She had a special loving nickname for everyone. Leslie "Peppy" will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Meadows Association, 1200 Coldspring Road, Elgin, IL., 60177, Meadowsassociation.org. A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 19th. Michelle, you tookexquisite care of Peppy every day of her life whether you were near or far. She lived well and died peacefully, appreciated for her strong personality and sense of humor by real and adopted family alike.
