

Marcia was born on July 17, 1929, in Chicago, Illinois to Meyer and Madeline Turner. She graduated from Hyde Park Academy in 1947.
In 1949 she married Jonathon (John) Frank. They had 2 children, Michael and Keith. Marcia and John went on to found Uniforms To You out of their home in 1961. Marcia was instrumental in the growth of the company.
Upon retiring from Uniforms To You, Marcia enrolled in the continuing education program at the University of Chicago, where she spent years studying Philosophy.
Marcia’s greatest passion was her family. She was the person who held everyone together. She hosted all holidays, remembered all birthdays, and never missed a special event for anyone. Whether in person, over the phone, or via the news clippings she would mail out on a regular basis, Marcia’s immediate and extended family members were an important part of her everyday life.
In addition to her family, Marcia loved spending time with her friends, going to the theater, baking cookies, travelling the world, playing cards and running various book, movie and Mahjong groups.
Marcia was preceded in death by her husband John. She is survived by her brother Allen Turner (Lynn), her 2 sons, Michael Frank (Susan) and Keith Frank (Robin), her 5 grandchildren, Aaron Frank (Millie), Madeline Frank, Stephanie Rodgers (Tom), Joel Frank (Megan), and Jordan Frank (Alexa), and 7 great grandchildren Zoey, Whitney, Stella, Emma, Ezra, Ogden and Carter.
Funeral service and entombment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum, Main Chapel, 9900 Gross Point Road, Skokie, IL 60076 on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 10:30 AM. Please call the funeral home for shiva information.
