I always enjoyed working for him. He was a very good guy loved his dogs. He would eat hungry man dinners and feed steaks to Cindy and Max. Rip Big guy!!!

My sincere condolences to the Goldstone family.  I’ve known Marty and his family for many years and I also worked for him at his private practice in River Grove.  I will always remember the happy moments we shared at that office.  Marty was a very kind and generous person as well as an excellent physician.  He loved animals and was a proud parent to Brent and “Grandpa” to Brandon.  He loved his daughter-in- law, Grace, and welcomed her with open arms when she and Brent married.  Let us now dwell on the happy memories we have of Dr.  Goldstone.  These memories will sustain us as we go forward.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I lived next door to Dr. Goldstone. He was always so nice and kind. I loved how he took care of all the cats in the neighborhood. From feeding them, to making sure they had a warm heated place to sleep. His indoor/outdoor kitty babe would always come over to our yard to say hi to me. He will be missed.

We are so sorry for your loss. We were Dr. Goldstone’s neighbors who lived across the street from him. Not only was he an excellent ER doctor who treated my husband in the hospital, he was a very compassionate person. He came over to check on his outdoor cats a few times and that’s how we knew he had chipped them. No one took care of those  cats  like him. Once during COVID in 2020, I was walking and Dr. Goldstone was out sitting on the ground repairing his walkway. We had a nice little chat. He was a good person and a nice neighbor.

Dr. Marty was a wonderful person. I have many great memories working with him.  Please accept my deepest condolences. He was dearly loved by many. He will be greatly missed.

My thoughts and prayers to the Goldstone family.  Dr Goldstone, Goldie to many of us, was way more than an ER Doc. He was a wonderful person with a heart of gold. Always eager to help those in need be it human or an abandoned furry face. He was a mentor, an educator and a friend. I’ve witnessed his skills many times as physician. So when my brother passed in Olney and he was the ER Doc there I knew if anything could’ve been done he would’ve tried it. That gave me so much peace. I pray for peace for your family. You are so loved and missed by many Goldie. You will not be forgotten.

Dr Goldstone was one of my favorite Er doctors! always treated his patients with so much respect and care, he was there 3 times when my toddler had seizures and was always so good with him and myself calming me down, cause they would always terrify me.. he was there when my oldest son had a heart attack and  was excellent with him!! he will definitely be missed in lawrence county! rest easy doc you was one of the best!!

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Goldie aka Dr. Goldstone I will miss you dearly. You taught me so much. You were the most selfless man. I am so glad I got the privilege to work with you almost every shift and I am so glad that my kiddos got to know you. You will truly be missed by everyone that knew you. We love you so much Goldie!!

I can’t believe you’re gone pops😭 You always had the best advice. The world is a darker place without you in it. My favorite memory of you is when you came out to Camp Pendleton and taught those medical classes to the company and then took me Brent and the guys out for a night on the town before we left for Iraq. I know that death isn’t the end and soon enough Me, you and Brent will be hangin again in the next world. I will miss you and I will keep your memory alive until we meet again.  Watch over us and save a seat for me up there pal.
