Melvyn De Matoff, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, peacefully passed away at the age of 89 on Sunday, October 15th, 2023. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Maureen (née Shaffer); loving children Gregory De Matoff, Monique De Matoff, and Darren (Allan Howze) De Matoff; deeply loved grandchild Benjamin De Matoff; and treasured sister Leslie Hickey. He was recently preceded in death by his cherished sister Marcene Schwarz.
Melvyn was a talented and accomplished artist. He contributed to everyone he touched, through the beauty of his art, his lifelong friendships, dedication to his clients, and his passion for swimming. His life was filled with love and his joyful spirit always shone.
Friends and family will gather for a funeral service for Melvyn that will be held Wednesday, October 18th, 2023 at 1 PM at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home.
