Merle Rothschild, 76, of Northbrook, IL passed on May 19, 2017 in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Merle, daughter of the late Max and Margaret Chubin, sister to the late Myron Chubin (Marilyn Chubin Domsky [Irving Domsky]), loving wife of the late Charles Rothschild. She is survived by her daughter Ronda (David) Lewinson and son Wayne (Marilyn) Rothschild and grandchildren Rachel, Rebecca and Jessica Lewinson, Maxwell and Morgan Rothschild. Brother-in-law John (Rena) Rothschild, sister-in-law Marianne (Robert) Ural, nieces and nephews: Felice Sommerfield, Edward (Randie) Chubin, Fred Chubin, Rebecca (Todd) Jurow, Sara (Greg) Schnitzer, Alison (Paul) Cawley and many more great nieces and nephews. Merle's life centered entirely on family, friends, food and travel. With each and every trip, she added to the list of friends and often found new family.
