Beloved father of Charles Deutch, Harry (Annie) Deutch, Benjamin Michael Deutch, and Robbie (Sarah) Deutch. Proud Zaide of Emma, Natan, Ezra, Eden, Netanel, Ela, Amalia, Elianna, Leon, and Zoey. Myron served honorably in the United States Air Force and passed on his devotion for his country through years of voluntary service with the Boy Scouts of America. He served as Chaplin at his American Legion's post in Franklin Park. Deeply devoted to Judaic beliefs and ideals and also found joy in the spirituality of the Baha'i faith. Myron loved cosplay and would frequently attend Sci-fi conventions. He also worked at the Bristol Renaissance Faire for several years dressing new and old comers in the official dress of the era and highly enjoyed wearing the costumes himself. Myron cherished his family & friends and will be missed terribly by all those who were privileged to know him.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday Sept 23, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Waldheim Jewish Cemetery 1400 S Des Plaines Rd, Forest Park, IL Please enter at Gate 84 (Greenberg Rd).
The recitation of the Baha'i Prayer for the Dead will be held at 1:30 pm
